The Mother of Jesus never stops working!  On August 19, 1996, Our Lady commissioned my husband Robert M. (Pete) Pohlman through an inner locution to build a grotto and at the same time gave him a vision of an old straggly cedar tree on a hillside.  We were still living in Springfield, Illinois at the time and were in the process of relocating to Quincy.  We went house hunting on August 24, 1996, just five days later.  There on the property we contracted to purchase that day was a spring.  Next to the spring was the cedar tree in his vision.
Our home is at 4507 Ghost Hollow Road.  On February 11, 1998, the 140th Anniversary of Our Lady of Lourdes, Father John Carberry dedicated and blessed our grotto and spring Quincy as Our Lady of Lourdes of

Ghost Hollow as named by Father Francis Damian Lee on May 16, 1997.  God is good!

We have opened our grotto to the public (click MAPQUEST ICON for directions), so that you may come and share in its splendor.  Meditate, pray, or just relax and read a good book by the flowing waters as they are spewed forth from the earth. Drink of the holy spirit which dwells within and seek Jesus as your personal savior.  "Oh, praise the Lord!"

PRAY, PRAY, PRAY AND HAVE FAITH!
